Medco’s Specialty Pharmacy division, Accredo, has an opening for a Proposal Writer who will specialize in creating strategic proposal responses specific to Medco’s and Accredo’s Specialty Pharmacy offerings. This opportunity offers a perfect platform for learning about the dynamic specialty pharmacy and prescription drug management industries and making a direct contribution to the organization.
Responsibilities:
• The Specialty Pharmacy Proposal Writer writes, edits and researches strategic proposal responses for Medco and Accredo’s specialty pharmacy products (including products and services associated with Accredo’s subsidiaries). • The Specialty Pharmacy Proposal Writer manages the development of specialty pharmacy proposals, ensuring responses are organized, persuasive, and compliant with internal corporate styles. • The Specialty Pharmacy Proposal Writer supports the creation of a database of strategic RFP responses for Medco / Accredo proposals that describe our specialty pharmacy offering / capabilities
Qualifications:
Qualifications: • Over 3 years business experience required, proposal related and/or healthcare related industry experience a plus • Superior written and verbal communication skills • Strong multi-tasking skills • Strong project management skills • Enjoys working and learning in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work in a virtual environment with subject matter experts located in field offices • Skilled in supporting a project under defined deadlines • Ability to work cross-functionally and interface with all levels of the organization • Proven ability to work in a team environment • Strong organizational and facilitation skills • BA or advanced degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or related field • Computer literate, skilled in Word and Excel a must
